CITY IN TIME is an augmented reality (AR) tourism project that enables you to relive the panoramic scenery of Hong Kong’s past at designated locations across the city. This immersive urban heritage experience was created at City University of Hong Kong for the Tourism Commission.
The historical panoramas were carefully pieced together from heritage photos, while some of which have been expressively re-interpreted by Hong Kong illustrators. These panoramas tell the unique stories of Hong Kong’s monuments and historical buildings, and bring the past back to life through lively animation.
