CITY IN TIME is a tourism project that uses Augmented Reality (AR) and multi-media technologies. It was led by Professor Jeffrey Shaw and created at City University of Hong Kong for the Tourism Commission.
The historical panoramas were carefully pieced together from heritage photos and expressively re-interpreted by Hong Kong illustrators Don Mak, Flyingpig, Pen So and Wong Chun Hei. These panoramas tell the stories of many of Hong Kong’s outstanding historical buildings and monuments, and bring objects and people from the past to life through lively animations.
